Video: Cricket Tasmania if a proud foundation parter of TALS
From the excitement of match day to the work behind the scenes, the Blundstone Tasmania Academy of Leadership in Sport (TALS) is helping students explore careers in the sporting industry, with applications now open for 2027.
Cricket brings together people with a wide range of skills. Behind every team and event are careers in marketing, operations, community engagement, administration and more.
Through its partnership with Cricket Tasmania and the Hobart Hurricanes, TALS gives students the opportunity to explore those possibilities while developing practical skills and industry connections.
The specialised program combines diplomas in Leadership and Management and Sport, with face-to-face learning in Hobart and Launceston, regular industry speakers and 100 hours of work-integrated learning.
Prospective students and their families are invited to attend an upcoming information event to discover what the program could offer them.
