Hobart Hurricanes star Tim David is set to make a shock appearance for Tasmania in tomorrow's One Day Cup clash against Victoria.
The dynamic middle order striker - who played one 50-over match for the Tigers nearly five years ago against Western Australia - has been named in an extended 16-player squad for the first white ball match at Ninja Stadium this season.
Joining David in the squad are Hurricanes teammates Nikhil Chaudhary, Mitch Owen and Riley Meredith, who were all unavailable for the last win against NSW.
Tim Ward (hamstring) is out injured in the only change from two weeks ago.
