Cricket Tasmania congratulates four emerging Tasmanian cricketers who were today named in the Under 23 Men’s National Indigenous Development Squad.
Announced by Cricket Australia and the Melbourne Cricket Club (MCC) Foundation, the squad will come together for a training camp at the MCG on Wurundjeri-Woi Wurrung Country from November 21-25.
Brayden Devries (Palawa), Caleb Brewer (Wiradjuri), Jack Pearce (Palawa – Tomme-ginner) and Toby Hutton (Palawa) will join 10 other talented First Nations cricketers from across the country to undergo a week of intensive training, cultural exchanges and competitive cricket.
The camp will feature two T20 matches against Melbourne Cricket Club Men’s and Women’s XIs on the MCG, as well as training sessions, personal development opportunities and the exploration and celebration of First Nations’ cultures.
