Cricket Tasmania Members are invited to attend the 160th Annual General Meeting of the Tasmanian Cricket Association will be held in the Members Room, Ninja Stadium, Bellerive, on Thursday, 24 September 2026 at 6.00 pm.
The general business of the Annual General Meeting shall be as follows:

To receive the annual report and accounts for the year ended 30 June 2026.

To elect the following office bearers: Patron and Directors.

The appointment of NTCA and NWTCA Appointed Directors.

The appointment of the Auditor.

Such other business as may be properly brought forward.
The retiring Directors are Peter Gee and Nicolas Turner.
Nicolas Turner and Katrina Gregg have been nominated to fill the positions of Elected Directors.
Notice of Special General Meeting
Notice is hereby given that a Special General Meeting of the Tasmania Cricket Association will be held following the conclusion of the AGM on Thursday, 24th September 2026.
As part of our ongoing commitment to good governance and operational efficiency, Cricket Tasmania is proposing one (1) amendment to the Constitution of the Tasmanian Cricket Association (ACN 009 476 993). This change will be presented for member consideration at the Special General Meeting which will be held following the upcoming Annual General Meeting.
The amendment is intended to reflect current operational needs and ensure the continued effectiveness of our committees and governance structures. A summary of the proposed changes is outlined below:
Premier League Committee Composition (Clause 31.1(c))
- Change to 31.1(c):
- Current wording: “an independent Chair if one is appointed pursuant to Article 31.2.”
- To be replaced with: “one (1) independent person, if appointed by the Board, for a term of two (2) years, eligible for re-appointment for the next or any succeeding term of appointments”
- Rationale: This amendment addresses the need for additional support within the Premier League (PL) Committee given the growth of the competition. Currently the Constitution only allows an independent person to join the Committee as Chair and does not provide length of tenure for this appointment. This amendment allows the addition of an independent committee member for a fixed term and re-appointment, without the burden of that independent person being the Chair of the Committee.

These proposed amendments will be formally presented at the Special General Meeting. Members are encouraged to review the changes and participate in the meeting to have their say.
