Coach Approach Sessions Return to Support Community Coaches

Whether you're coaching a junior team for the first time or have years of experience in cricket, Cricket Tasmania's Coach Approach sessions are designed to give coaches practical skills, support and confidence ahead of the season.

The 90-minute sessions focus on real-world coaching, providing activities, strategies and tips that coaches can take straight back to training. Coaches will learn ways to engage players, teach core skills and create positive experiences for everyone involved in their team.

Beyond the session itself, coaches who attend can access ongoing support from Cricket Tasmania coaching staff through individual club visits, receive online coaching resources and help their club access training equipment packs. The sessions also provide a great opportunity to connect with other coaches, share ideas and learn from people facing similar challenges and experiences.

For those looking to further their coaching journey, attendance can also contribute towards Cricket Australia coaching certification, with the required online learning modules able to be completed before or after the session.

Coach Approach sessions will be held at:

South: Sunday September 20, 10:00am to 11:30am, Clarence Cricket Club
North: Monday October 5, 6:00pm to 7:30pm, Mowbray Cricket Club
North West: Wednesday October 7, 6:00pm to 7:30pm, Devonport Cricket Club
North West: Thursday October 8, 6:00pm to 7:30pm, Wynyard Cricket Club
