As part of Cricket Tasmania's strategy to strengthen our connection with members, fans and communities, we're expanding our Marketing & Communications team. This growth reflects our commitment to creating exceptional experiences, building deeper engagement with fans, and strengthening the profile of Tasmanian cricket and our brands which include the Tasmanian Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes.

About the role

The Content Coordinator plays an important role in bringing cricket to life through engaging and creative digital content. As part of Cricket Tasmania's investment in growing our brand and strengthening our connection with fans and communities, you'll help tell the stories that inspire, entertain and engage audiences across Tasmania and beyond.

Working closely with the Marketing and Content Manager, you'll create, capture and publish high-quality content across a range of digital and social platforms. From match-day action and behind-the-scenes access to community initiatives, player stories and major events, you'll help showcase the people, moments and experiences that make cricket so special.

You'll film, edit and produce content at pace, adapt it for different audiences and platforms, and contribute to maintaining a consistent and engaging content flow across the Hobart Hurricanes, Tasmanian Tigers, Cricket Tasmania and Ninja Stadium brands. You'll also support campaigns, partnerships and events, helping ensure our content remains fresh, dynamic and audience-focused.

About you

You're a highly motivated and creative storyteller with a passion for producing engaging digital content. Whether you're filming match-day moments, editing social media videos, creating visual assets or identifying the next great story, you're always looking for ways to capture attention and connect with audiences.

You enjoy working collaboratively with players, coaches, staff, partners and community stakeholders to bring stories to life. You understand the fast-moving nature of digital and social media and are comfortable balancing creativity with deadlines.

Most importantly, you're passionate about sport, storytelling and the Tasmanian community, and excited by the opportunity to help grow the profile of cricket throughout Tasmania.

You'll Bring

  • Relevant qualifications in Media, Film, Communications or a related discipline are desirable.

  • Experience in video production, content creation and digital media

  • Strong video editing skills using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro or similar.

  • Basic filming skills including camera operation, lighting and audio capture.

  • Experience creating content for social media and digital platforms.

  • Working knowledge of graphic design tools such as Canva, Photoshop or similar.

  • Strong storytelling ability and a creative eye for visual content.

  • The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality work in fast-paced environments.

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and travel as required during matches and events.

  • A passion for sport, digital media and creating engaging fan experiences.

  • A commitment to continuous learning, improvement and living organisational values.

  • A current Tasmanian Registration for Working with Vulnerable People (Employee/Volunteer), or the ability to obtain one.
