About the role and about you

Cricket Tasmania has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Bowling Coach to join our High Performance program, supporting the Head Coach – Female Programs in preparing the Tasmanian Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes.

Competing at the highest level of domestic cricket, our female programs are focused on building sustained success and developing players for national and international pathways. This role plays a key part in shaping and leading the bowling program, ensuring clear performance objectives and contributing to individual player development across the squad.

Working closely with the Head Coach – Female Programs and wider high-performance team, the Bowling Coach will lead the planning and delivery of bowling strategies, support match preparation, and contribute to technical, tactical and performance analysis. The role is also responsible for developing and implementing individual bowling plans, monitoring progress, and working collaboratively with support staff to optimise player performance.

We are seeking a coach with proven experience in elite or high-performance environments, ideally with a track record of developing both emerging and established players. Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills are essential, along with the ability to contribute to a high-performance environment where accountability, enjoyment and continuous improvement are balanced.

A team-first mindset, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary environment are critical. You will bring a genuine passion for coaching, a deep understanding of elite cricket performance, and the ability to build trust across athletes, coaches and broader stakeholders.
