We're Hiring: Cricket Development Officer - Greater North

About the role

We’re looking for someone who’s enthusiastic, organised, and great with people to help deliver fun and engaging cricket programs across the Launceston region.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver cricket programs for kids aged 5–12 that are fun, inclusive and engaging
  • Plan and run school sessions to promote and grow participation in Woolworths Cricket Blast (WWCB) and Hurricanes Smash Series (HSS)
  • Work closely with clubs and schools to build awareness and boost program registrations
  • Support and train WWCB Coordinators and club volunteers
  • Contribute to other community cricket programs and projects as needed

About you

You’re someone who:

  • Brings energy and a genuine passion for working with young people
  • Is organised and able to plan and deliver activities effectively
  • Communicates confidently and enjoys presenting or running sessions
  • Builds strong relationships and works well with a range of people
  • Is flexible and willing to work some evenings and weekends over summer
  • Holds a current driver’s license
  • Has a current First Aid certificate
  • Has (or is willing to get) a Working with Vulnerable People registration
