With the Wilson Homes Cricket Tasmania Premier League reaching its conclusion for the 2025-26 Season, Cricket Tasmania can proudly share the results for the Rodwell and Fazackerley Medal night.
In the Men's competition, after a tightly fought season across the board, it would come as no surprise that the Medal would be tied for this season with Lindisfarne Batter Charlie Wakim and University All-Rounder Ruwantha Kellapotha finishing in equal first in the Emerson Rodwell Medal.
Both players finished the season on 18 votes, with Wakim having an incredible season with the bat scoring 875 runs at an average of 62.5 with a CTPL record six hundreds across the season.
Kellapotha had an equally impressive year with the bat scoring 882 runs, along with topping the bowling aggregate with 44 wickets at an average of 18.05.
In the Women's competition, it was Kingborough All-Rounder Amy Gordon who won the Kim Fazackerley Medal on 30 votes by a whopping 10 votes to North Hobart batter Melodie Armstrong.
Gordon scored 798 runs across the season, along with bagging 21 wickets, and helped Kingborough to a Women's 1st Grade Final in their first season back in the CTPL.
The Club Championship was won by Clarence District Cricket Club, while Kingborough District Cricket Club won the Spirit of Cricket Award.
There was also one Tasmanian who has been added to the Cricket Tasmania Premier League Hall of Fame, Josh Bean, who was terrific servant to the University Cricket Club in the 2000s.
