Tasmania will play their final Sheffield Shield match of the 2025–26 season tomorrow against the Queensland Bulls at Ninja Stadium.
After losing their last Shield match to Victoria, Tasmania will be looking to finish the season on a high with a strong win against Queensland, who are chasing a spot in the Sheffield Shield Final.
Their squad for tomorrow’s match features several changes from the previous game, with a number of bowlers who have featured heavily throughout the summer being managed.
Added to the squad for his potential first match of the season is Lawrence Neil-Smith, who has been battling injury for much of the summer and will be looking to make the most of his first opportunity to play in the Sheffield Shield.
Billy Stanlake has also been recalled to the squad following his best Sheffield Shield performance for the Tigers in several seasons against Western Australia in Perth earlier in February.
Jake Weatherald has recovered from a back spasm that forced him to miss last week’s match against Victoria.
Bowlers Gabe Bell, Jackson Bird, and Riley Meredith are being managed following heavy workloads over recent Shield matches.
Tasmania’s 12‑man squad for their match against Queensland is as follows:
