Tigers One Day Cup Final Squad Release vs NSW

The Tasmanian Tigers return to One-Day Cup action tomorrow against New South Wales, with the opportunity to lift the Dean Jones Trophy for the first time since the 2009-10 season, when Tasmania defeated Victoria at the MCG.

Hosting the game at Ninja Stadium, the Tigers are excited to hold the final in front of what will hopefully be a big Tasmanian crowd in this Day-Night fixture.

After losing their last two matches of the 50-over season - one of which was to their opponents, NSW, Tasmania will be aiming to lift the trophy tomorrow night and finish their white-ball season on a high.

They have named an extended squad of 17 players for tomorrow's fixture and will assess the conditions before making a decision on their starting XI for the final tomorrow.

The inclusion of Australian representatives Nathan Ellis and Matt Kuhnemann, along with Australia’s Assistant Coach from the T20 World Cup, Matthew Wade, strengthens Tasmania’s squad from their last match against NSW.

Also returning from injury is Jordan Silk, while Riley Meredith is recalled after a heavy workload in the Sheffield Shield.

Jake Doran comes out of Tasmania’s squad.

Tasmania’s 17‑man squad for the One-Day Cup Final against New South Wales is as follows:

Nikhil Chaudhary
Nathan Ellis
Bradley Hope
Caleb Jewell
Matt Kuhnemann
Raf MacMillan
Ben McDermott
Riley Meredith
Aidan O'Connor
Mitch Owen
Will Prestwidge
Jordan Silk
Billy Stanlake
Matt Wade

Ins: Ellis, Kuhnemann, Meredith, Silk, Wade
