The Tasmanian Tigers return to Women’s National Cricket League action this week for their final two matches of the 2025–26 season, taking on New South Wales at Cricket Central in Sydney.
Tasmania will be looking to finish their campaign strongly after a challenging run of results, having dropped their past six matches and still chasing their first win of 2026.
They’ll face a tough NSW outfit currently sitting atop the WNCL standings with four games left to play, as the current benchmark side of the competition.
Tasmania’s squad for tomorrow’s match features several changes from the group that lined up against the ACT earlier this month.
Headlining the inclusions is opening batter and wicketkeeper Lizelle Lee, who returns to the side after helping guide the Delhi Capitals to the Final of the Women’s Premier League in India.
The Tigers also regain four key players who missed the last round through injury, with Ruth Johnston, Tabatha Saville, Lauren Smith, and Rachel Trenaman all cleared to return.
They replace Chloe Casey, Julia Cavanough, Ava Curtis, Caitlin Mair, and Clare Scott in the travelling squad.
Meanwhile, Nicola Carey remains unavailable for selection due to ongoing commitments with Australia’s white-ball series against India.
The full Tigers squad for the two matches against NSW is as follows:
