Ninja Stadium locked in for One-Day Cup Final

Tasmania will host the One-Day Cup final at Ninja Stadium in Hobart on Wednesday, March 11 after securing top spot on the standings with one round remaining in the home and away season.

Initially scheduled for Saturday, 28 February, the date of the final has moved to allow Tasmania to stage the match at Ninja Stadium, which will host two women’s NRMA Insurance One-Day International matches between Australia and India on February 27 and March 1.

The Tigers’ opponent in the day/night primetime fixture will be confirmed after the final round of matches next Saturday.

The final will commence at 2.05pm AEDT and will be broadcast live on Foxtel and Kayo Sports and streamed live at cricket.com.au.

Peter Roach, Cricket Australia’s Head of Cricket Operations and Scheduling said:

“We are delighted that despite a scheduling clash that we have been able to work with our partners to ensure that Tasmania will host the final at Ninja Stadium in Hobart after their dominant season to finish top of the table.

“Re-scheduling matches requires support from all stakeholders, and we’d like to thank our broadcast partner Foxtel and the State and Territory Associations for their flexibility and understanding as we navigated scheduling challenges.”
