The Tasmanian Men’s Second XI return to action next week at Allan Border Field in Brisbane, with a four-day match against Queensland starting on Monday.
Tasmania has named a strong squad filled with talent from the Tasmanian Tigers men’s program, along with players from the Wilson Homes Cricket Tasmania Premier League who are performing well this season.
Several players in the squad will be looking to stake their claim for spots in Tasmania’s Sheffield Shield and One-Day Cup squads for the remaining matches this season with strong performances next week.
Leading the team for the match in Brisbane is Mac Wright, whose experience at the next level will be vital for this group.
