Tasmania has now confirmed its squad for the Male U17 National Championship, which begins Monday in Brisbane, Queensland.
The team will play six matches over eight days, featuring talented young cricketers from across the state.
The squad includes several players who have already competed in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League 1st Grade competition.
With many having previous U17 National Championship experience, the 14-player lineup brings plenty of depth and skill.
Tasmania’s side will be coached by Harry Allanby, supported by Tuwanda Mupariwa and Nat Schilov.
Allanby is excited to see what the squad can achieve against the other states.
"We are really looking forward to seeing what our U17s side can do in Brisbane over the next week.
"We we’ve seen a lot of positives in the U19s across the male and female programs, and we would love to see our U17s boys doing the same and competing hard against the rest of the country.
"We are excited to see the boys perform and grab the opportunities they’ve worked really hard for back at their clubs,” said Allanby.
Their first game will be against Western Australia on Monday morning.
