After her stellar form at the Female U19 National Championships in Newcastle, Cricket Tasmania is proud to share that Mia Barwick has been awarded the Player of the Tournament.
Barwick, the captain of Tasmania’s side, was also selected in the Team of the Tournament. Remarkably, she still has four more years of eligibility in the U19 age bracket, having only just turned 15.
Across the tournament, Mia scored 242 runs at an average of 48.4, took four wickets, and claimed five catches in a terrific all-round performance.
Congratulations to Mia and the entire U19 squad for their outstanding efforts over the past week, including three wins. The future is bright for women’s cricket in our state!
