The Tasmanian Tigers return to red-ball action tomorrow in Sydney against New South Wales in their fifth Sheffield Shield game of the summer.
They will be looking to bounce back following their loss to South Australia in the last match, where Beau Webster claimed eight wickets for the match and Jordan Silk top-scored with 59 in a low-scoring affair.
Returning to Tasmania's squad for his first Sheffield Shield game of the 2025–26 season is Mitch Owen, who has been unavailable due to his Australian white-ball commitments.
Charlie Wakim also comes into the squad for the first time this season after strong form in the Cricket Tasmania Premier League for Lindisfarne and Second XI matches for Tasmania.
Riley Meredith returns to the Tasmanian Tigers squad after being managed for the previous Shield match against South Australia.
Opener Jake Weatherald and all-rounder Beau Webster are both unavailable for this match due to their commitments with the Australian Test squad.
Kieran Elliott has also been omitted from the squad.
