After their huge win against Western Australia in the Sheffield Shield last week, the Tasmanian Tigers return to the red-ball format with a match at CitiPower Centre tomorrow against Victoria.
The Tasmanian side will be full of confidence following good performances with the bat from Jake Weatherald (94 runs) and Captain Jordan Silk (57), as they helped the Tigers to a 258-run lead ahead of Western Australia's second innings.
Enter Tasmania's experienced pace-bowling unit of Jackson Bird (2-54), Gabe Bell (3-79), and Riley Meredith (3-41), who left it late but managed to dismiss Western Australia with three runs to spare in a great reminder of how exciting the Sheffield Shield can be.
Rejoining Tasmania's squad for his first game of the domestic red-ball summer is Beau Webster, who has recovered from his rolled ankle to be fully fit for this match, and will be available to bat and bowl against the 'Vics'.
Also joining the squad is Ruwantha Kellapotha, who made his debut in the One Day Cup last week, and will be presented with cap number #217 if selected in tomorrow's Shield match.
Unavailable for this match due to Australia's white ball series against India is Matt Kuhnemann and Mitch Owen, who are both set to play a key role in upcoming T20 matches over the next fortnight.
Nivethan Radhakrishnan also comes out of Tasmania's squad from their game against Western Australia.
Tasmania's 13-man squad for their match against Western Australia is as follows:
- Gabe Bell

- Nikhil Chaudhary
- Jake Doran
