Squad Release: Tasmania vs Vic in the One Day Cup

Following their incredible last over win against New South Wales, the Tasmanian Tigers travel to Brisbane to take on Victoria in the One Day Cup tomorrow starting at 2.00 pm in a Day/Night fixture.

The squad will be full of confidence after the heroics of Matt Kuhnemann and Bradley Hope, with their 101-run partnership for the ninth wicket getting Tasmania home with four balls to spare.

Nathan Ellis was the pick of the bowlers for Tasmania, taking 3-37 from his 10 overs, but he unfortunately misses this game against Victoria due to the birth of his first child.

Victoria played in the One Day Cup yesterday against Queensland, and will be looking to make amends following their loss.

Mitch Owen plays his last game for Tasmania until after the Australian white-ball tour of New Zealand, missing Tasmania's first Shield game starting on 4 October.

Returning to Tasmania's squad is Tigers Captain Jordan Silk, who has recovered well from a quad strain that was sustained during the male program's pre-season Tour of Queensland.

Also selected in the squad and for his potential first Tasmanian game of the summer is Caleb Jewell, fresh off a 1000-run season for Derbyshire in the County Championship in the UK, he will be looking to translate that form this Australian summer for the state.

Tasmania's 14-man squad for the match against Victoria is as follows:

Iain Carlisle
Nikhil Chaudhary
Bradley Hope
Caleb Jewell
Matt Kuhnemann
Riley Meredith
Mitch Owen
Jordan Silk (c)
Billy Stanlake
