Following Cricket Australia’s domestic schedule release, the Tasmanian Tigers can now confirm their upcoming domestic cricket schedule for the forthcoming 2025-26 summer.
Launching the Tasmanian Tigers season is the Men’s One Day Cup, with Tasmania playing two games in four days starting on 16 September 2025 at Cricket Central in Sydney, followed by a match-up in Brisbane at Allan Border Field.
The week after, the Women’s National Cricket League begins with the Tasmanian Tigers taking on South Australia at Karen Rolton Oval on 26 September.
Tasmania’s first game of the Sheffield Shield Season gets underway on 4 October against Queensland at Allan Border Field, then return to Ninja Stadium for the first game of domestic cricket in Tasmania on 15 October.
The T20 Spring Challenge starts on 21 October and runs for 10 days providing the Hurricanes with the perfect lead into WBBL|11, as the ‘Cane Train travel to Sydney for all four matches, followed by finals.
The Tasmanian Tigers WNCL squad will play their first home matches of the season in Round 3 of the WNCL on 4 January 2026 versus the Queensland Fire.
Their season also finishes a round earlier than the rest of the competition, with their scheduled bye held in the last round of the season, meaning a potential fourth final in five years could be held nearly a month after their previous game.
The Tigers' last three games of the Shield season will all be played at home, giving Tasmania a fantastic opportunity to host a final in the red ball game.
