Larger than life and one of the biggest personalities in Australian cricket, Molly Strano is one of the most loved players in the game. The talented off spinner has enjoyed success at domestic and international level, and makes the switch to Tasmania while at the top of her game.
The all time WBBL leading wicket taker has been a force in Australian cricket for over 10 years, playing the bulk of her domestic games for Victoria, and also representing Australia 7 times in WT20I’s. Strano was part of the squad for the T20 World Cup in 2020, and was named to the Australia A side for the 2022 Women’s Ashes.
Moving to the Tigers for the 2021/22 season after finishing the previous campaign as the WNCL leading wicket taker, Strano’s on field form is only part of her value – as a tremendous presence in the locker room, she will no doubt provide a boost for the culture of the Tasmanian Tigers.
