U19 Female National Championship Squad Announced

Cricket Tasmania is delighted to announce Tasmania’s Female U19 state team who will be competing at the upcoming National Championship in Brisbane next week.

The squad will be bolstered with the inclusion of Tasmanian Tigers and Hobart Hurricanes star, Amy Smith, who will look to provide the U19 team with great experience on and off the field.

Head Coach of the Female U19 squad, Natalie Schilov is excited to see how the tournament will play out for the female Tasmanian pathways squad.

“We’re looking forward to the challenge of the National Championship, it’s always a good test for us.” Explained Schilov,

“We’ll be aiming to compete and implement a number of things we have been working hard on, both as individuals and as a group, but mostly we are excited to get out there and play more cricket and see what our talented youngsters can achieve at this level.”
