Appointed captain of the Tasmanian Tigers again for the 2017-18 season, Bailey has been in ominous form in the early stages of the summer.
He was the Tigers' leading run-scorer during the JLT One-Day Cup, smashing 373 runs at an average of 62.16 including three half-centuries and one century.
Bailey and Tasmania's attention now turns to the Sheffield Shield, where the 35-year-old will be looking to replicate his one-day form.
