A legend of Women’s International cricket, New Zealand’s Rachel Priest brings a wealth of experience and plenty of power to the Tasmanian Tigers lineup. Joining in 2020, the batter/wicket keeper has made Tasmania home after her retirement from international cricket.
In her 13 year career for New Zealand, Priest played 87 WODI’s and 75 T20I’s, scoring two centuries and a high score of 157 – which remains the highest ever score made by a wicket keeper in a WODI game.
Captain of the Hobart Hurricanes in the WBBL, Priest’s leadership and experience are second to none, and figures to play a major role in catapulting the Tigers to success in the near future.
