Tigers Academy quick, Alex Pyecroft, will be looking to make an impact with the ball on Day 2 of Tasmania's Sheffield Shield clash with South Australia at Blundstone Arena.
After losing the toss and being sent in, the Tigers battled valiantly in trying batting conditions throughout the opening day before being knocked over for 185 with two overs to bowl prior to stumps.
South Australia escaped without loss but also without a run as a key morning session will welcome the players today.
Pyecroft, who rose to a Shield debut via an impressive Detail First Premier League Grand Final last year - taking 11/93 over two innings, as well as two eye-catching Toyota Futures League matches to begin the summer, replaced Gurinder Sandhu in the final XI.
Ben McDermott returned from Australian limited overs duties in place of the injured Beau Webster.
With the bat on Day 1, new captain Matthew Wade continued his run of form to top score with 43 while George Bailey, Jake Doran and Ben McDermott each fell after making starts in the 20s.
