The Queensland Bulls have moved themselves into the box seat after a dominant display with both bat and ball on day two in Brisbane.

With Tasmania resuming at 2-60 looking to eat away at a 195-run deficit, the Bulls – led by Luke Feldman – put on a bowling masterclass to blow the visitors away.

Jake Doran was the first man to depart, caught at first slip off by Matthew Renshaw. He was followed by Matthew Wade, who was caught behind down the leg-side very next ball.

That left the Tigers at 4-72 and things didn’t improve from there – Tasmania eventually bowled out for 115 mid-way through the first session of play.

Feldman was the chief destroyer, claiming 6-32 from 11 overs while Brendan Doggett (2-19) and Michael Neser (2-43) claimed the remaining wickets for Queensland who took a 140-run lead into their second innings.

Jackson Bird provided Tasmania with the perfect start removing opener Lachlan Pfeffer for 2, but Matthew Renshaw and Marnus Labuschagne steadied the ship for the Bulls as the lead blew out past 200.

Most of the Queensland batsman got starts and contributed throughout the remainder of the day, eventually heading to stumps at 6-195 – an imposing lead of 335 confronting Tasmania as they head into day three.
