Cricket Tasmania releases the following 15-man Tigers squad for its Sheffield Shield clash with NSW at the SCG from Monday 5 November.

This extended squad is made possible with the Hobart Hurricanes Academy playing a tournament in Sydney simultaneously vs. academy sides from the Sydney Sixers and Thunder, Lahore Qalandars (Pakistan) and Auckland Aces (New Zealand).

Two players from the 15 will be released to join the Hurricanes upon the XI being finalised closer to the start of the Shield match on Monday.

Test captain Tim Paine and Ben McDermott return to the Tigers squad following their time with Australia in the UAE.

Gurinder Sandhu will make his First-Class debut for Tasmania if he is included in the final XI.

The squad is as follows:

George Bailey (C)
Gabe Bell
Jackson Bird
Alex Doolan
Jake Doran
Ben McDermott
Riley Meredith
Simon Milenko
Tim Paine
Tom Rogers
Clive Rose
Gurinder Sandhu
Jordan Silk
Matthew Wade
Beau Webster

Head Coach: Adam Griffith
Senior Assistant Coach: Jeff Vaughan
Physiotherapist: Ben Hayes
Player Development Manager: Ben Mabon

The match begins at 10:30am AEDT on Monday and will be livestreamed at and the CA Live app.

Cricket Tasmania Members will be treated to a Meet & Greet with Australian players on the eve on next Sunday's ODI with South Africa, and it's not too late to sign up for the summer!
