The Tasmanian Tigers have named its squads for the next round of JLT Sheffield Shield and Toyota Futures League.
Tim Paine is the only omission to the Tigers’ Shield squad, having been selected in Australia’s squad for the first two upcoming Ashes Tests against England.
That leaves the Tigers with a 12-man squad to travel to the Adelaide Oval to take on South Australia, who are fresh off a come-from-behind win over Western Australia in Perth.
The South Australia v Tasmania fixture commences on November 23.
Tasmania have named also named a 13-man Futures League side which will take on Victoria at Casey Fields in Melbourne starting November 20.
Beau Webster will be available for the first two days of the Futures League fixture, before travelling to Adelaide to join up with the Shield squad.
Nathan Freitag will join the side for the third and fourth days of the match against Victoria, after scoring a club record 219 not out for Kingborough in the Detail First CTPL last weekend.
Simon Milenko will captain the side, returning from duties with the CA XI which played two tour matches against England in Adelaide and Townsville.
Andrew Fekete has overcome a foot injury which sidelined him from the first two Sheffield Shield matches and has been named in the Futures League squad also.
