Cricket Tasmania releases the following squad of 13 for the return of the Sheffield Shield season beginning from this Saturday 23 February vs. South Australia at the Adelaide Oval.

The inclusion of Tim Paine is one of three potential changes to the side which lost to Queensland by four wickets in the final game played before the Big Bash break.

Rookie-contracted allrounder, Jarrod Freeman, comes into the squad as does Tom Rogers.

George Bailey will miss at least the next fortnight with an injury to his right shoulder suffered in the Hobart Hurricanes' Semi-Final last Thursday.

Simon Milenko and Sean Willis also go out of the squad.

The players named 12th and 13th man will return to Hobart on Sunday 24 February to play in the Futures League vs. Western Australia at Lindisfarne beginning on Monday 25 February. Jack White will travel to Adelaide on the Sunday to be substitute fielder for this period.

Charlie Wakim will make his First-Class debut if selected in the final XI.
