Cricket Tasmania releases the following squad of 13 for the JLT Sheffield Shield clash with NSW beginning on Wednesday 20 March at Blundstone Arena.

Hamish Kingston and Simon Milenko are added to the squad which was narrowly defeated by Western Australia last time out. Alex Pyecroft makes way with knee soreness.

George Bailey's shoulder hasn't recovered well enough to put him in contention for the Tigers' final regular season game.

Kingston - who has 10 Tigers Shield appearances, is yet to feature this season but has 26 Detail First Premier League wickets at an average of 20.2 for South Hobart-Sandy Bay to his name.

Milenko's last Tigers appearance came vs. Queensland in the match before the Big Bash break. Upon resumption of the Shield season, the all-rounder was Player of the Final in the Premier League's One-Day tournament - taking 4/25 and making 45 runs.

Since the One-Day Final, Milenko has averaged 40 with the willow and taken 3/55 and 4/80.

Tasmania sits fifth in the Shield standings, and remains a slim chance of advancing to a second successive Final should it beat NSW, accrue enough bonus points and have the result of the WA vs. QLD go its way.

NSW need to beat Tasmania to ensure it remains in second place and features in the Sheffield Shield Final vs. Victoria at the Junction Oval from 28 March.

The squad of 13 is as follows:

Matthew Wade (C)
Gabe Bell
Jackson Bird
Alex Doolan
Jake Doran
Hamish Kingston
Ben McDermott
Riley Meredith
Simon Milenko
Tim Paine
Jordan Silk
Charlie Wakim
Sean Willis

Head Coach: Adam Griffith
Senior Assistant Coach: Jeff Vaughan
Assistant Coach: Ben Rohrer

The match begins at 10:30am AEDT from Wednesday 20 - Saturday 23 March and will be on livestream on Entry is free.
