The National Indigenous Cricket Championships have concluded in Alice Springs.

Cricket Tasmania finished in fourth position on the championship ladder.

The match between 4th (TAS) and 5th (SA) was washed out.

There were some fantastic performances throughout the carnival that were led by the top order batters.

Callan Morse made 203 runs at 40.60 and Brodie Hayes was also very impressive making 198 runs at 66.00.

It was a great development experience for a group that contain giver under 17 years of age players.

We congratulate Brodie Hayes who was joint winner of the Men’s player of the tournament.

Black caps were given to all players who made team of the tournament.

Both Brodie, Callan and Tayla Wigg (VIC) were all awarded black caps.

Although Tayla was representing Victoria she plays for the University Cricket Club, and also the Sheffield Cricket Club

Congratulations to all who were involved, a fantastic effort by all.
