After a long and successful playing career, Scott has continued his contribution to cricket in the North West region through his role as an umpire with the North West Cricket Umpires and Scorers Association (NWCUSA).

His umpiring journey commenced in the season of 2011/12, and since this time Scott has been held in high regard within the cricket community.

Scott’s ability to understand the game and interact with players, along with his decision making, has seen him achieve a number of milestones and awards, including umpiring in five Cricket North West Men’s First Grade Grand Finals, being a five-time winner of the Cricket North West Umpire of the Year, along with umpiring in several Greater Norther Grand Finals and representative games.

Along with his contribution to local cricket, Scott has also represented Tasmania on multiple occasions, officiating in the National Indigenous Tournament in Alice Springs.

Scott’s commitment to cricket in the region is also recognised through his ongoing involvement as a member of the Board of the Cricket North West Association.
