About the role

Cricket Tasmania is looking for a dynamic and people focused General Manager to lead the Corporate Services department to provide effective governance processes and procedures for Cricket Tasmania. The General Manager Corporate Services leads a multi-disciplined team including Human Resources, Finance, IT and Risk; while playing a lead role in operational elements of Human Resources. 

Reporting to the CEO, you will be a key part of Cricket Tasmania’s executive team and play a critical role in the delivery of Cricket Tasmania’s overall strategic objectives.

You have experience in a HR Generalist/Business Partner role
You work well within a diverse team environment
You demonstrate strong focus on governance, policy and process

Bonus points if

You have an understanding of the sports industry

Head Coach Female Pathway & Assistant Coach Female Elite (Tigers & Hurricanes) Programs

Position Description

Cricket Tasmania has an exciting new opportunity for a highly motivated and organised coach to lead our Female Pathway Programs and provide quality coaching support to our Female Cricket Program, including the WNCL and WBBL teams.

Reporting to the Head Coach – Female Program, this is a great opportunity to lead a cricket pathway program with the intent to produce world class players, teams and coaches, while ensuring the success of our local teams within Australian Domestic Cricket competitions. 

Key role responsibilities include:

Develop and deliver a pathway program for Cricket Tasmania’s Women’s pathway players
Lead the implementation and management of the pathway coaching program in conjunction with specialist support coaches and sport science staff
Develop and deliver initiatives for attracting and retaining talented female cricketers
Assist and work effectively alongside Cricket Tasmania Head Coach and Lead Specialist Coaches during the season
Play a lead role in CT High Performance coaching group
Lead state selection panel and decisions for all female pathway teams 

To be successful in this role you will have:

Level 3 Cricket Coaching Accreditation (Cricket Australia or equivalent)
Proven success in team/Individual cricket coaching within a high performance environment 
Ability to work flexibly, including weekends
Excellence in developing, implementing, and managing High Performance cricket programs  
Ability to motivate and influence High Performance cricketers, coaches and teams
Understanding of modern coaching techniques and methodologies 
Well-developed management and leadership skills
High level interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
Exceptional planning, coordination and organisational skills

Coaching & Talent Specialist

Position Description

Do you have experience working with athletes within an educational or sporting environment?
Do you have exceptional interpersonal skills?

About the role

Use your energy to build and maintain a network of talent program coaches across Tasmania. You will lead coach development activity and support regional coaches to deliver engaging and supportive learning environments for players. You will lead, plan and deliver the talented player development process for identified players and develop growth and operational plans to support the delivery of Youth Cricket Pathway programs in each region. Use your interpersonal skills to connect with clubs/schools and assist those systems to support the holistic development of players.

About you

You bring passion and energy to engage and influence many different people
You are great at organising 
You work well within a diverse team environment
You have demonstrable coaching experience with individuals and teams
You have previous experience managing, coaching and touring with professional or representative team’s intrastate, interstate or abroad 
You have experience in athlete talent identification and development processes

Bonus points if

You have tertiary qualifications in Education and Coaching
You have Level 3 High Performance coach accreditation
You have coaching experience at state/national level
You have playing experience at or above Premier Cricket 1st Grade Level
