In his two seasons at the helm, George has helped the PKF Tasmanian Tigers lift both the Ryobi Cup and Sheffield Shield. A destructive middle-order batsman, George can changed a game in the space of a few overs with his devastating striking of the ball. George had a mediocre season by his exceptional standards in 2010-11, scoring 487 runs at an average of 30.43. He is renowned around the dressing rooms for his clever wit and sense of humour and is the grandson of George Herbert Bailey, who was in the Australian touring squad to England in 1878.
