The Tasmanian Tigers have wrapped up a convincing 142-run win over South Australia at the Adelaide Oval.
Resuming at 5-124 this morning, Tom Cooper was an early casualty for the home side as he was caught edging behind off the bowling of Jackson Bird for four.
Alex Carey and Callum Ferguson then began a steady partnership which threatened to get the Redbacks into the game.
The pair added 62 runs before Carey chased a short ball from Tom Rogers and could only feather another catch through to Matthew Wade for 24.
The lunch break came and went and Sam Rainbird broke through shortly after, producing a hooping in-swinger which snuck between the bat and pad of Cameron Valente.

The big wicket of Callum Ferguson followed, his gutsy knock ending on 94 when he was snaffled by Beau Webster in the gully – again off the bowling of Rainbird.
Adam Zampa and Kane Richardson added 27 for the final wicket, but Tasmania secured victory when Richardson tried to hit Webster into the stands, only to find the safe hands of Jordan Silk.
Jackson Bird (3-51) was the leader of the attack over the course of the game, claiming 8-81 in a terrific performance across both South Australian innings.
Rainbird (3-56) and Bell (2-36) were the other multiple wicket-takers for the visitors.
Tasmania will take a great deal of confidence into their next Sheffield Shield clash, facing New South Wales at Blundstone Arena before the Big Bash season commences.
