The PKF Tasmanian Tigers will clash with the top of the table Queensland Bulls in a crucial Bupa Sheffield Shield match starting at Blundstone Arena, Bellerive tomorrow.

After defeating the Bulls by seven wickets last night in a Ryobi Cup match, the PKF Tigers ensured a place in the final of the shorter form of the game but must also take the points against the northerners in the four day match to keep their hopes alive for back to back Shield titles.

The battle for a berth in the final is close with little separating the top four teams.

The Tigers are currently in 4th position on the Bupa Sheffield Shield points table with 22 points with their opponent Queensland leading the way with 30 points, Western Australia are on 26 and Victoria (who defeated South Australia yesterday) on 24.

Selectors have made no changes to the 12-man Tasmanian squad who defeated New South Wales last week.
