Cricket Tasmania is offering a Level 1 Coaching Course incorporating both online and practical components, to be held in December 2010.

Clubs, Schools and Associations are invited to nominate suitable candidates to participate in these courses.

CT’s coach accreditation structure is focused on delivering courses with the highest relevance, quality of presenters, resources and ongoing professional development. Coaches are crucial in striving to achieve our vision, to make cricket Tasmania’s favourite sport.

LEVEL ONE COURSE - (2 evenings + online component)

Monday 6th December
6:00pm to 9:30pm
Bellerive Oval Indoor Centre

Monday 13th December
6:00pm to 9:30pm
Bellerive Oval Indoor Centre

The content of the course will be extensive covering topics such as basic batting/bowling/fielding skills and techniques, Youth Cricket Code of Behaviour, Spirit of the Game and Game Sense activities. Level One (Development) accreditation is aimed at underage and club coaches and includes training in both general coaching and sport specific aspects.

Cost of the course is $75.00 which includes course material including the Cricket Australia Coaching Guide CD-ROM.

Nominations need to be submitted on the attached form.
